Upper Lakewood and Lower Lakewood!

Found a smokin' deal on some double adjustable Lakewood uppers on ebay a couple of weeks ago, $104.94 shipped, summit gets $249.95 plus handling. Got them last week but haven't had any time until today to get them installed. My car already had Lakewood lowers on it when I got it so now I have them on both upper and lower.

So, now I will be able to adjust the pinion angle for better launches and it also makes for more exhaust clearance.

The old original upper with a worn out bushing:

The new uppers:

Uppers and lowers:

Now to let it down off the jackstands and go test drive it!:burnout:

I wish it would do that, couple of weeks and hopefully it will...:D

Test drive was great, quietest it's been since I've owned it. No more rattles and clunks from the rear, nice and smooth going down the road.

Tried to spin the tires and could hear the engine laughing at me from under the hood...:roflkeke:

I hope you're not planning to make a corner carver out of it. The urethane bushings in the uppers are really only good for straight line.

Nope, not worried about going around corners fast, don't even have a front sway bar.

Only worried about going fast 1/4 mile at a time and moderate street manners.
