Scored a pair of real nice SN95 seats, charcoal cloth, power lumbar, CHEAP.
Think I saw somewhere that they sit higher than fox seats, anyone know if I will have much problem getting them to fit?

Don't know anything about Mustang seats, but I got a pair of nice reclining buckets from a 4-door 1982 Zephyr, and the back seat for my 1979 Fairmont Squire. They had the individual armrests and the seatbelts mounted on the inside floor-bracket.
The problem with those brackets was the floor bolt pattern was both too long and too wide to match the Fairmont floor mounting bolt layout.

If you can find another bench seat or a pair of stock bucket F/Z brackets, then see if you can match the mounting holes on the bottom of the SN seats, you'll save yourself a lot of work. The seats I got looked like they were made for different models of Ford vehicles, which explained the different unused self-tapping holes in the seat base frame. Ford was a bear on making most parts interchangeable and standardized, so you might be lucky.
Anyway, they dropped right in without drilling the floor or the seat frames. I just attached the belts into the tranny tunnel mounting holes.:)
Hope that helps.

They do in mine. I have no idea how because they were already in the 83 when I got it but they do.

Confused. Are you saying the floor-to-seat mounting brackets are different on an 82 Zephyr from a 79 Fairmont? Ive always thought that all 78-83 F/Z bucket seat tracks were the same (and that even the bench seat tracks were essentially a right bucket right track and a left bucket left track. I do know that the 83-86 Fox LTD/Marquis seat tracks are significantly different and will not fit an F/Z floorpan. I also believe that the 79-93 Mustang and 81-82 Granada/Cougar seat tracks/floorpans are the same as 78-83 F/Z.

Everything I have read on other sites says the SN95 seats will be a bolt-in and they will sit a little taller although the amount varies depending on who is posting.

No. I cant remember what was different, but it didnt work. I tried to replace a track on my 83 Futura (factory buckets) with a bench seat track out of my 81 Zephyr.
Wound up welding the broken track together at work.

Anyone know how the back seat comes out on a SN95?

The new front seats are in.
Contrary to what has been posted, seats may or may not be a bolt-in. On the drivers side seat I had to elongate the holes to get the bolts to go in.
Strangely enough the passenger seat had a power base on it and it bolted up with no mods to the holes. Don't know why it has a power base and the driver seat doesn't, guess someone had messed with them before in the SN95 they came out of. May swap the power base over to the drivers side.
Both seats have power lumbar that I will have to wire up, and both have adjustable bolsters in the bottoms.
No problem with head room for my 6'2", and they do sit back a little further than the old bench which will be very welcome. That may also be due to the backs being thinner than the old bench to some degree.
Have to get rid of the crappy blue seat belts PDQ!
