I got new tires and the weather yesterday was excellent so I gave the Mark VII a nice bath and found a nice spot to take some pics. The tires are 235/60-16 Kumho Solus KR21s. They had good reviews on Tire Rack plus a 85,000 mile warranty, and they were 96.95 mounted and balanced so I decided to give them a try.

Thanks everybody.

I wanted to get the extra horsepower from the stickers without them being visible on the outside. Actually I got the idea from a friend who had them in that spot on his Camaro drag car.

I would recommend you give painting them a try. A different color like black really makes a big improvement in these turbines imo. They kind of have an 80's aftermarket wheel look. Which isn't surprising since they were made by GKN in Britain.

Yeah I plan on polishing the lip and having the centers PCed white to match the car.

What's up is that it's attached to my Hot Rod Power Tour 2008 sticker. That might explain why it's been running a little rougher lately. :fried: Me and my dad ran the first leg to Springfield along with 4 other Mark VIIs. GM was one of the big sponsors this year.

is the 5 speed a swap? i've never seen a factory mark VII with a 5spd

The 5 speed is a swap, unfortunately no Mark VIIs ever came from the factory with a manual. It's sad too because it's as easy to swap one as a Mustang. The place is already stamped in the firewall for the clutch cable and everything. The only hard part is making the console look stock.
There's a bunch of pics from the swap in the cardomain in my sig.
There were about 10 GTCs made by Cars & Concepts that had an optional Roush drivetrain package that included a 351W and a 5 speed.
