I wa wondering why you cant't put svo rotors on any old fox stang and get 5 bolt rotors there must be a reason why I was just wondering.

Spindles are different if I remember correctly.

You can use them on the 87-93 11" spindles, no problem.

Ok I have just installed an 88 K-member,so all I have to do is get some SVO rotors and Im good to go?Then why all the hype to use sn95 stuff, this seems so much easier is there a problem fitting some wheels with these rotors?

Exactly, you start to get real limited on what wheels you can run becasue of the hub dameter and height of the dust cap.

Plus SN95 spindles have much better Ackerman geometry than any Fox stuff could ever dream of having.

PLUS the rotors are a slip fit design and the hub bearing is a sealed unit that is bolted on. Easy replacement for both the rotor and bearing not to mention less weight.

Because the Fox brakes suck...
In addition to the geometry improvements, you also have MUCH better brake options with the later stuff.
Even for a car that I was just using as a DD, I would take the Fox stuff off and throw it into the dumpster...
But if all you are concerned about is wheels...then yes, this is the "easy" way to go.

Thanks for clarifying the spindle thing Chuck........I had always heard the SVO spindles were different from other Fox spindles.

They are "different" in regards to the balljoint taper and steering geometry, they are the same as far as brake caliper mounting.

In order of preferred spindle
Sn95 (note differences between 94 & 95 vs +96)
SVO (need BJ adapter for regular fox & SN95 LCA's)
Fox +87
Fox 79-86

yep...wheel selection gets pretty slim. Pretty much '06+ bullits, '95-97 Cobras, or the stock SVO anchors.
