View Full Version : My 80 Cobra

This car started out as a 2.3L Turbo 4 cyl with a 4spd. Swapped to a 302 5spd before I got it. I put a 351W out of a 1991 Crown Victoria (P71)police interceptor in it . Edelbrock 600 cfm carb and intake, MAC 351W swap headers, MAC H-pipe and a flowmaster cat back exhaust.

Car came with the original Recaro sport seats, but they are in pretty bad shape, so I swapped in some others for now. It's in storage right now, as I don't have another place to keep it, or time to work on it.

Not bad! At least it's in one piece. Do you plan to restor it? Resto-mod it? Since the side window glass has been replaced, hopefully whoever did it, didn't hack your interior panels.

Yea it's pretty much all there. I plan to resto-mod it in the future, as the original drivetrain is LONG GONE and I don't care for the 4 cyls anyway. The person that changed the side windows was me, I only have the one done so far :p No I didn't hack the interior panels at all.

Also it has an 83-86 Dash cluster in it right now. Previous owner took out the original because he says some of the gauges quit working. It did however come with the car.

it needs an actual paint job. It's been attacked with a spray can in a few places!

Nice one. Are the recaros ripped or just dirty. If they're dirty send me a message i found a good way to clean seats. Looks like a nice car. More pics?
