Console Cleaning

The console in my '86 Coupe (Sand Beige) is in need of some serious cleaning. What have members of this forum used to clean their consoles and other hard interior plastic parts? Any recommendations on products or techniques would be appreciated. Thanks!!

i've used the orange goop hand cleaner and it works great , it also takes stains out of carpets and seats

I use purple power / simple green / or superclean mixed with water (about 1 part cleaner to 4 parts water). Spray it on use a soft bristled brush and hose it off.

I use Fantastik and a soft bristled brush and than wipe clean.

Thanks for the suggestions, has anyone used 409 with a bristle brush? K Pony do you used Fantastik undiluted?

I used regular old soap and water with a toothbrush to get gunk out of the hard to clean places. After reinstalling used 303 Protectant and it's good as new.

That 'Greased Lightning' stuff is good too. Took some oil stains out of the carpet with it.

I've had good luck with Simple Green 1:1 w/ water and a bristle brush.

I spray Fantastik straight on out of the bottle not diluted, scube with soft bristle brush and wipe clean with a damp cloth.
