Has anyone filled this seam?

I am thinking of filling the seam between the rocker and the rear quarter, it was previously almost completely filled with that rock guard stuff anyway so I thought I would weld and fill it in for a clean look.

Instead of welding and grinding I would just properly bondo it

Or properly put seam sealer in there.

filler doesn't work, mine is showing it again.

So, seam seal or weld would be the best bet.

Weld it solid is the way I will go welding is more fun anyway.

My 82 Fairmont is welded at that seam and it's held up great for three years now!

Go for it, the smooth look is nice!

when i fixed the bent up 82GT after a wreck i just bondo'd over that panel..it's been holding fien for a couple years now(the car is junkyard bound anyway)
