someone told me that blackmagics have a dash plague is this true and does anyone have a picture of it thnx guys.

negative. my white magic had an RS badge on the dash, that was about it.

GT350's came with dash plaques, but never seen a CAT with anything outside of RS on the dash.

mine doesnt have the rs badge is it supossed to have it its not an rs though.

I was of the belief that all Black Magic's were RS cars. Is this untrue?

It can either be a Black Magic or an RS, but not both.

If you look at the Product Facts Books on Mike's (negusm's) site (http://ascmclarencoupe.com/Literature/) both the Black Magic and RS options say that they are not available with each other.

RS badges on the dash of a Black Magic does not make it an RS. The Body/Buck Tag would confirm if it is either a BM or an RS.

understood, however, I have seen many if not most BM cars with RS badging. Is there an explanation from FLM on this reason?

could have been changed? my gs t-top has an rs emblem, took only a few minutes to change. lol

mine is a black magic it says cat on the buck tag so i guess it s right not having an rs badge.

My 82 black magic 9D (white) car had badging on the dash and door panels. While these are changable items, it was fairly unlikely given the condition and history of the car I had. This is what makes me wonder whether or not it was simply an add on option level similar to some of today models like GT/CS etc, which are basically GTs with stripes and some other minor trim or body differences. As we all already know these were never high dollar cars so attention to detail and parts availability may result in variances.

very true ,somehow i scored the emblems in gold for the rear spoiler which i was missing the capri so im happy brings it closer to stockish which i like

My 83 is all original except the radio. Has CAT on the buck tag and an RS badge on the dash and door panels.

wow mine has a cat on the buck but no rs on the dash or the doors so what gives which is correct????
