I was looking at the insulation for my 82 on mustangsunlimited.com and was wondering if anyone had experiance with that stuff, and also if i'd have to cut out for the scoop or if it came in the sections?

Got a link?
I imagine its the flat sheet of stuff for $30? It just folds/rolls up. Its not going to be the same as the large 1 piece hood insulation. It should be cut to fit correctly.
The same maker has a version for Turbo cars with the turbo cutout in it.

You mean the repro moulded one for 83-86 Mustangs? No, I had one and it was "almost" able to fit but was just wrong here and there.

Well, yeah, but what are you going to do about the sections that are missing? Glue the parts you cut off to those spots?
The newer ones don't cover the same area as the old ones. It covers too much in spots and too little in others.
