Ok, I am about ready to remove my old torn/crapy airdam off my 82GT & replace it with a less crappy one, but ho do I remove replace it? Can I do just the dam/lower half or is it molded to the nose itself?

The upper and lower are 2 individual parts. You can remove the lower only. It is an easy job. I have done it a couple times but without looking at the complete setup I can't tell u step by step. Their are 2 bolts that go into the fiberglass fender parts. Then U have the upper metal strip on the lower aiddam I think it has 7 bolts than a smaller one I think. Man it's hard to remember this stuff. Anyways it's easy, BUT the bolts are probably rusty. So expect to break a few. Trying to find replacements won't be fun. Use alot of PB Blaster. U may also have to fab up a few bolt ect. If I knew correct terms this would be easy. If u have any questions call me anytime on Sunday. I will be around the house so I can look at mine and give a better description of how it comes off. I'll pm u my #.

there's like 6 that go into the front bumper itself, 1 behind each turn signal bracket..2 that sit vertical that tie into the fender extension, and 2 more(per side of coarse) that are horizontal and below that little angled running light, crawl under there and you'll see..it's fairly easy if the bolts dont break, last time almost all mine did so i removed the broken ones from those little plates, bought stainless hardware and welded those to the plates so it's never an issue again

EDIT: nl mex-send me a PM i might have what you need
