Recovering seats

I have a set of the escort seats with the halo headrests. They are in near mint condition. But what if one day they need to be recovered. Can I use the upholstry for the 86gt seats with no problems? Or am I crap out of luck?

You can always have a reputable shop make upholstery for them if you supply them the material.

There are many many low poroduction cars out there with reupholstered seats. Not every car model can have a catalog resto like Mustangs can. There are usually alternatives to some degree.

i had an 87 escort gt, and the seats look like 86 mustang gt seats, but they are very different.
