I pulled my seats out of my 85. UNfortunately some of the bolts screwed out instead of the bolts coming off (not all). When I out them back in, do I need to place some sort of sealant on the bolt before I screw it in so that it seals? Thanks, Paul

Eh...Probably not. For security, you could smear some RTV on them. That will keep moisture out

I'm taking you meant to say the STUDS came out with the NUTS still attached to them on the rear mounting points?

You could take the time to remove the nuts from the studs while they are out, and then reinstall the studs with a little threadlocker when you reinstall them. Conversely, you could just replace the stud/nuts with bolts. 10mm-1.5 thread 30-40mm long (the longer length if you plan on installing SFCs that attach to the seat mounting points under the car).

They are not just studs. There is thread on the nut side and where they went into the floor pan.

+ 3 happens to me all the time, if you try to remove the nut you'll prolly end up screwing up the stud, just screw it back in
