Is there any place I can go to find a run down on how to check/test/replace the fusible links for our cars, particularly my 86GT? I have a voltmeter, soldering iron and know they run up there to the stater solenoid. I was wanting to check things such as Lamp Feed, Ignition Feed, Charging Circuit, the Heated Backlight, EECIV Module/Solenoids, and the no. 1 thing, the Fuel Pump. I know they are all 16, 16, 14, 16, 20, 20 and 18 guage respectively. I've been told if the fusible link feels rubbery it's bad, but is there a more definitive way?:confused:
