Got the pace car out! PICS

Well a few weeks ago I got the pace car out for the first time this year and decided to post a couple pics. Sometime over the summer I will be going to get the windows tinted so I photoshopped them to my liking. While also playing around I removed the side blinkers and antenna. I think in the future I may remove the blinkers, I like the way it looks. I went with ROH wheels and lowered it since the last pics.

Well I haven't done it yet, but I did have the discussion with my body guy (very knowledgable and honest) and he said he could do it, even after I stressed that I didn't want to have problems 5yrs from now with warping or shrinking. He said no problem.

If the side markers where on the fender, it won't be a hard job ... but they are on the bumper ... working on urethane may not be fun when it comes to fill large holes ...

certain parts of different cars stand-out. they give it its character. on a four-eye, i think the few things that make it a four-eye are of course headlight buckets. the others are the sail panels, fender lips, hood scoop and the blinkers. i honestly think it looks way better with them. its not my car though. she is gorgeous the way she is :D i love that car

those are side running lights(somethin like that), they don't blink.. IMO leave em on there, nice pace car though!

What model ROHs are those? I have the ZR6s which im prety sure are different...but that is BY FAR the BEST looking pace car i have ever seen...usually hate them...but the rims and stance of the car just make it...id say def on the tint...ive got 20% all around on my car...and being dark green makes it look 100x better IMO...but keep up the good work...and either way with/without the side markers it looks good

Can you photoshop what it would look like if it was a convertable, but with TRX wheels? If you don't have any photos you think would work there is a nice repainted Pace Car on ebay right now. I think a dead on side shot would be the easiest one to photoshop.

Very nice car. I'd leave the marker lights intact if it were me. Besides, IIRC there is a requirement for there to be some sort of side marker light on all cars.

Ahh, I'm not worried about the law. If you have seen my cobra then you would understand.

Usually if you have a nice car and your not being a **** no one will bother you. My cobra technically has enough things illegal on it to have a 5 page report, but I haven't been hassled.

69CLARK, That ia a sweet looking pace car. I just couldn't do that to mine,so i bought a 83 hatch and installing a pace car front clip. Planning on modding it and leaving the pace car stock. Here's a pic of mine.

What size rims are you running front/rear? Would also like to know tire size and backspacing. I am going to lower mine also and yours looks great!!!!!

OK, so I went to the ROH website and it looks like the only size they sell to fit our wheel pattern comes in 18x9's. Is that correct?

I bought these off someone so I didn't do the research on fitment and sizes, but they are 4-lug 18x8 fronts and 18x9 rears w/3" lip. I remembered looking for a company selling these sizes (when I saw the guy had them for sale) but couldn't find any. I don't know where he found him, but as you can see from the pics they made them at some point. lol

lol, Although everything I own is for sale for the right price, I don't know. I know in a year or so when I do the 5 lug conversion they will be for sale for sure.
