Hey guys, did anyone of you read the Editor's Page in the new Modified Mustangs Magazine? If not, pick it up! The Editor (Huw Evans) wrote a nice article on the '79-'81 Cobras in which he credits them as reviving the interest in the Mustang platform.

In the article, he mentions that most people credit the '82 GT as the start of it all but he himself wants to give credit to the "original" fox body, the 1979 model. He talks a lot about the Cobra and to some extent, the Pace Car. At the end of the writeup, he mentions that they're looking for Cobras and Pace Cars to feature for a future writeup and that owner's of clean looking examples should contact them.

I know that we have a bunch of those on this site and I'd like to see them in print so contact him or Tracy Stocker (freelance photographer who works for them) with the photos and the writeups of your cars.

I thought about it but mine is nowhere near magazine quality. That and a non functioning motor right now, lol.

I like the article but my Cobra isn't worthy. I have spoken with one of the photographers and they are supposed to be coming to Germany later this year to shoot the SSP. Maybe I can sneak the Cobra into background of do a scene with the SSP pulling over the Cobra.

Francis Butler took pictures of my green 80/93 Cobra clone at the Fun Ford Weekend in Orlando. I know it is not the real deal but it helps to highlight the awesome look of the cars. I would not have made the car look like a Cobra if they weren't so good looking. Hopefully it will run soon, I have been waiting over a year for the pics of my SVO to hit the magazine.

Matt, I remember seeing your car and it looks amazing. For those who may not have seen it, here it is.

Blushing....

Actually probably looking to sell it soon. I don't have the space for it and have so many other projects I could use the money to keep them going.
