dash vent? Mine is missing 1. and it has A/C

The passenger side dash plate supposed to have 2 vent aren't they? My 79 Cobra is a factory A/C car and only has a total of 3 vents. 2 vents on the bezel on the drivers side on each side of the guages, but on the passenger side it in missing the inside (left) vent. Can anyone help?

i thought the vents were the same between them all for 79

I could be wrong but i have only seen either 2 vents or 4 vents. I don't remember seeing 3 vents.

If the Cobra has factory AC it has four vents. Two on Driver and two on passenger.

Where it gets fun is the passenger bezel - all engine turned as well as the driver bezel.

If the car is a Turbo 4 and AC it will have two vents and Turbo charged logo.

What "some people" think is that you can just use a turbo car's bezel and just removel the turbocharged logo however there are holes!

Bottom line. Driver side "two" different. Engine turned ac or non ac. Passenger "four" different bezels.

Mine looks exactly like that! but mine has the cobra emblem. And mine is factory A/C.

Can you check the Bucktag and Door Tag? I wonder if someone prior to you changed the bezels? Weird.

It was ordered with AC from the "factory".

Mine has the cobra badge on it also........Weird.........I guess someone could have changed them out. I just wonder why they have to change it out?:confused:
