I guess I will be the first to vote. I vote for Heberts show.

ALL Fords welcome and a good cause.

I voted MU because I enjoy the cruise to MU a lot and get to see Mustangs from other areas as well.

capriman86
05-16-2008, 06:54 PM
IF we have a good turn out of people, Yes...I enjoy that cruise down there very much.
The post isn't getting much action this time around and worrying me. :(

Well, I'm on the fence for either of these shows because I'm coming back from Florida on the 25th and I'm not sure what I'll have for money upon my return. That being said, I think I'll vote for the Hebert's show because I've never been there. Plus, it'll cost me half the amount for gas. For the last Mustangs Unlimited show, I spent $72.00 on gas but I did have about 4 gallons left in the tank, thus it cost me about $58.00 total.

If I have money upon my return, I'll head up to Heberts with you guys if you decide to go there.

I just got back from Florida, it was awesome 90 and sunny everyday . I would love to go to the M.U. show I have not gone there scene 2002. Let me know, my wife and daughter will also being coming. It would be nice to see everyone including you Pete.

capriman86
05-16-2008, 07:57 PM
honestly I am on the fence.

IF we have at least 6 cars going, I wouldn't mind cruising to MU.

But.....if there is a lacking in the turn out for MU, I wouldn't mind just going to Heberts
where its more local and hold off til the fall for the last MU show.

Dunno..we see...I can't decide, but wanted to get a feel on what other thought.

up to you jeff ?

LOL...This is making it tough since I wanted to go to MU and most want to go to Heberts.

I really like the cruise to MU and there isn't another show there until the Fall, so that's the reason why I want to go to the MU show. Is there going to be an MCCNE show at Heberts this summer?

Hissing Cobra

Hebert's sounds better and better to me. I'll try and have some money earmarked for the fuel and entrance fee upon my return from my trip. I'll let you guys know.

Hi Jeff,

I'm still lurking in the shadows... Anyway, I'm just getting back from vacation the day before the shows so I can't go to either. If they get postponed due to rain then I wouldn't mind going to Heberts. It would be a change from seeing the same cars that go to all the MCCNE events.

capriman86

Ya I am thinking Hebert's as well..lol

Hope to see you either way John!

The June 1st show at Mustangs Unlimited is primarily a Mustangs only event, but we do allow other Ford family autos in the display (corral) area.

Hope to see you all, and if you have any other questions feel free to call me at 508-xxx-xxxx

Jim Silverman
President MCCNE Inc.

Yes Mr. Silverman is correct. If you go to his show with a Ford powered but non-Mustang vehicle he will be very happy to take your $12 and direct you and your car to the way back of the parking area - far from the holy mustangs. An he and most of his band of holy mustang owners will not even have the decency to come over to look at your car or say hello to you or your family. How do I know this?

T

Oh yes, Heberts show - 100 percent.

Hey I would be in for heberts 100%...M.U. is a long cruise with a 4:10 rear twice in a little over a month...so if my vote counts ...HEBERTS

Jeffrey! Count me in brother for the Hebert's show. I've got a little bit of money left from my vacation but don't want to spend it all on gas to go to the MU show. What time does the Hebert's show start? I can put together an itinerary if you guys want to meet/cruise. Just let me know. I will also have to get directions because I've never been there.

Hissing Cobra
05-28-2008, 10:51 PM
Wow. That's simple. I'll work on the itinerary tomorrow night and post it up (Celtics are on and are winning!) What time does it start? I figure I should allow myself about 1.5 hours to get there from my house. I'd like to arrive about 30 minutes before the show so that I'll have time to get the road grime off the car before the show starts.

Awesome Paul!!

I would think the usually 495 stops would work then we hit Rt 9 for a short distance...
We could stop on Rt 9 but I don't know anyplace anyone would want to stop at.

The last stop could be the back side of the Xmas tree shop on Rt 20

BIG open lot we can gather for the last 5 min or so into the show.

O.k. guys. Registration starts at 8:00 a.m. and the show starts at 9:00 a.m. I'd like to be there at 7:30 or so if that's o.k. That'll give us a little time to wipe the road grime off the cars before the show starts.

Here's my itinerary for the cruise on Sunday.

6:00 a.m. Leaving my house in Wareham.
6:30 a.m. Meeting up with Paul (306 GT) and anyone else at Friendly's @ the Middleboro Rotary (Exits 5 & 6 off of Route 495).
6:45 a.m. Meeting up with (Dave) DimeStorePony and possibly Matt (Wilson) and anyone else at Dunkin' Donuts off of Exit 10 on Route 495.
7:00 a.m. Meeting up with Paul (Mustang4life1985), Jeff (Capriman86) and anyone else at Home Depot off of Exit 18 on Route 495.

There's a few people that I'm not sure where we should meet. Dave, are you going to meet up with Fred and if so, is there anywhere on our trip that we could meet you? Matt, since you're in Norton, can you meet up with us at the Dunkin Donut's by Exit 10? Chris, since you're in Pembroke, which way are you going? Is there anywhere that we can meet you? Just let us know and we'll be more than happy to stop and meet up with you guys.

The best part? As I was meeting up with the guy who was parking us, he commented on how cool it was that we all rolled in together. We honored the foureye crowd proudly and they certainly noticed!
