View Full Version : NEW 79 COBRA IN MICHIGAN

hi name is john this is my 79 2.3t 4 speed all original. starting to need some body work again Michigan is hard on them. I got the car in 99 at 16 for $50 and drove it for the summer and the engine was smoking so bad it went through a qt of oil a week.

Nice looking Cobra! I like the material on the seats. That's definitely unique. Did you have it painted and did you reinstall the graphics?

no paint yet it is an original white cobra with orange decals ineed to have the rockers fixed and rear quarters fixed sometime soon and then i will repaint and reapply new decals to it. this winter for the restore to factory . the only thing visible that is not stock are the rims they are bart racing rims i wish i could have the trx rims on it but they are getting hard to find rubber for.
