Can i get black rear seats for an '84?

Hi, i'm trying to figure out how to get black cloth rear seats in my 84.I know that after 83, the seats became split backs, so earlier seats won't fit, and the black interior stopped after 83.I have seen newer fox seats in black(87-93), but i believe the seatbelts come out of the seat, differently than four eye cars, so i might have to modify the seat belt mounts.Anybody have any info on how to get black cloth seats to fit an 84?Thanks.

Well first off I believe the split seat and full seat are the same dimensions so they should fit and interact ok. Secondly i dont recall the seatbelts being mounted to the seat at all in the 87-93. As for the black clothe rear seat either hit the boneyards or for big money cha ching buy new apolstery.

i think that there are holes in the bottom part of the seat in 87-93 stangs where the seatbelt pulls through is what i was saying, so the seatbelts are mounted in a different location to come through the seats in newer cars.

Im doing this on my 84, the split seats have a braket in the center of the floor you will have to remove. Everything else fits after that. I used a seat out of an 82

All you have to do is remove the old ones and install the new. Just remove the center brackets as mentioned above and you're done. You might want to plug the bolt holes though...I would probably just buy some shorter bolts and throw some silicone on them...
