Is there a normal problem with GT fog lights not working. I've tried several solutions but no luck. Do the headlights have to be on first? Any solution will be appreciated.

Mine are not working now on my '85 as well and I am troubleshooting, but to answer your question, in factory configuration on your '86, the fog lights will only work when your low beam headlights are on.

Does the amber indicator light on the switch turn on when you turn on the fog lights?
