One thing I like doin is creating cars that the companies never made. Convincingly using oem parts and designs to pass a vehicle off as a rare optioned car. For example, when I had my S10 Blazer 4door rwd I was adding a rear spare tire carrier, 78 buick ventports, 86 monte carlo ss rims and a future 4wd drive swap with the awd t/case from either a astro awd or a Jimmy Smart Trac. It was gonna be a Rally Sport that would've came with a super charger stock but I would have claimed to add a biturbo setup to. Anyway my next idea is because all the special stangs where turbo 2.3 or 5.o, nothing for the efi or carbed 2.3 or 3.3. This which goes to my idea for a rare optioned n/a car called eithe Boss or B-Boss(babay-boss). suposedly a trim with the option of a HO 2.3 I-4 or 3.3 I-6 that would be more for autocross or roadracing. I will have a full write up on my cardomain page once I gather up all the miss-information and "history"

now one part is for appearance it came with louvers and the Cobra GT and Boss striping, cobra rear cover, SVO style spats and either Pace Car or Cobra front valence aswell as a functional hood scoop. Hatch only option and either will be a 2+2 or a 2seater.

Its not beer associated. I likre the idea of what if ford had done this... to whatever vehicle.I think the whole idea is pretty smart and to think how many peopl would believe in a Boss 140 Ithink its nice.

If it's not the beer then it must be the "wacky tabacky"

I dont see the problem, its a very simple paintjob and the story will be pretty convincing, Im writting it now. I was for the longest going to call the project stallion but theres noway a 4banger could be a stallion a mule maybe.

My brutally honest opinion:

I almost like the black stripe on that blue car.

Except when my eyes zero in on the half painted moulding behind the front tires. That looks like total and complete ass. He should have painted the entire moulding. That would have at least looked like it was complete.

Make sure whatever you do works with the lines and style of the car. There are some interesting paint jobs out there. The good ones recognize that they have to work with the car and not against it.

I agree...

I hate what the previous owner did to this car. He said he wanted a "stock look" but I am not sure what he was going for.

The paintjob sounds good in theory but in practice (as you can see) it leave something to be desired. Also, the black wing shouldn't be painted black. its not the correct spoiler type to be painted a flat black. You would need it to be a later model (94-04) style wing to at least look okay.

Its posed to be simplistic like a factory job. It has canadian Cobra GT striping on the rear. and a Boss stripe on the side. almost done with that Boss 140 writ-up too.

I think it could be cool, if done right. I say you hit up revell for a couple '80 Mustang Turbo Cobra models and try it out on them. lol

I'll probably mach it up with tape. There wasnt a Boss in the 80s was there?
