Looking for NOS parts...

I would like to get a new latch for the rear hatch on my 82. It just doesnt work very well. Acts as if springs are broken inside. Is there any place I might score a NOS piece?

Not being a smart-***, but have you tried lubricating it?

Yea...its kinda worn. Years of no grease and lots of dust have worn it good. Not that a little lube wouldnt hurt but it wouldnt work as new. I just thought I would see if anyone knew of a place.

Does the post have the bushing on it still?

Call Green Sales Company and ask. Get the part number. Then call your Ford dealer and ask, use the part number. Have them both do a nationwide search (they work on different networks). Hopefully something will pop out.

Do you need a power hatch? PM me as I have a pretty darn nice one that I have tested.
