We've had to make some changes to the user Albums, or PhotoPost, due to some of the images simply being out of hand. Things start to add up quickly when single images go beyond 1MB in size and can't be viewed on a monitor pushing 1920x1200 resolution. Photos are desperately needing to be edited before uploading. Cropping, resizing (dimensionally) and making the file size smaller is not all that difficult and most, if not all, cameras come with software packages that have some rudimentary photo editing software. I'm sure a quick search could yield free or cheap software if it's needed.

Here are the new limits:

Daily upload limit of 5 files.
File size limit of 200k (VERY easy to get images under this size with editing software)
Disk space limit of 1536k PER USER.
Image dimensions limit of 1280x1024 (plenty big enough to see, we don't need to be uploading wallpaper or bigger sized images in the Albums)

If you are overwhelmingly irked by this, accept our apologies, but we needed to rein this in before things got any further out of control.

One thing that has been done is the adding of the code you need to insert an image into a post. Just copy and paste and you're good to go.

This does not affect the image attachment features, but attachments are going to be looked at in the near future as well.
