whats a good rev limiter to work with a stock duraspark ignition? I was looking on summit racing and msd makes one part # 8728. I just dont want to be on the track and miss a 2-3 shift, go into 1st accidentally and bend a pushrod or worse. cheap insurance to prevent disaster.

FYI. The RPM limiter will do nothing for ya if you go into 1st by mistake. It will help if you miss a shift or shift into N...but anytime the wheels are turning the engine..the RPM limiter will do nothing.

Does the dura spark II have the same?

Duraspark does not have a 6250 RPM limit. That's EEC. And it's not 6250 for every Mustang EEC module calibration.

FoxChassis is a BEAST! The revlimiter that was mentioned in the starting post is $117, why not go with an aftermarket ignition control? Nice ones can be had for $200 or so (Summit, MSD, Mallory, etc.).
