anyone ever use one, i got mine from ratech and it does not sit tightly on the pinion gear, is this correct??? the shims that came w/ it do though

rear axle pinion gear, replaces the crush sleeve

Pinion spacer in place of the crush sleeve.
I used this kit when I put the 3.55s in my '85. Nothing needs to be a tight fit.
The crush sleeve kinda did, because it's a crush sleeve. The solid spacer will
end up tight enough once the pinion nut is torqued down.

I've used that kit before. I champfered the spacer a little at a time 'till it sat tight on the lip of the pinion gear.

I think I may have stuck the shims on first, but I don't remember, nor do I think its that important.
