well i found out what the ticking and idling problem was i was low on oil needed to add 3 Q's of oil Yikes :eek:

one should always know what is or isn't on the end of one's dipstick !

Or AT LEAST one should know whether he is holding the dipstick or he is indeed the dipstick!

rofl dude i've been so busy never even thought of checkin till im like thats not right should check and yea it was bad :( im ashamed of my self lol

we have a mid 80's chevy 1 ton pickup with an aftermarket dump bed, it has a pos poor running 350 that burns oil like crazy...lets say we put at max 500 miles since the oil was last checked and it burnt through 4-4.5 quarts! that thing is on it's last leg
