Hey guys,
I figure ima do some new rims on my 86 gt most likely. However the person who I bought it from had just put new tires on, and I really don't wanna get rid of them. So I looked, and I found alot of wheels I liked, that would fit the tire. So I could just put the tires on a new rim. My question is, what exactly is the stock bolt patter(4x???) and what is the offset and backspacing I would need to get a proper look? I was looking at some welds or some summit knockoff welds and I think they have a set that'll fit, but I wanna be sure. lol

Bolt pattern is 4 on 4-1/4.
What size tires?

Well, right now I have 235/60/R15's. I was lookin at the Weld Prostar Knockoffs (http://store.summitracing.com/compare.asp?N=700+4294923107+4294923105+400304+429 4755964+115) by summit. I can get them in 15x8 all around and mount my current, brand new tires on them. Then when I get new tires, I can go to 255's. No need to go past that since i'm keepin her near stock. If I could just get the dimensions(backspacing and offset) of the 10 Hole wheel, and get the new wheels with the same dimensions, i'de be perfectly happy! lol

The ten hole wheels are 15x7 so you won't get a 15x8 wheel with the same dimensions.
A 255/60/15 tire is 27" tall, okay on the back but way too tall for the front.
The 15x8 summit wheels come with either a 4.5 or 5.5 backspace. The 5.5 backspace wheels are great for the rear but would cause tire rub on the front on the inside and the 4.5 backspace would cause rub on the outside.
If you like the 235/60's then just go with the 15x7 4.5 backspace summit wheels.

Thanks man. When I go 255's I could do smaller sidewalls. But do you think i'de be okay with some 15x7, 4.5 backspace wheels for the front and 15x8 5.5 backspace for the back? Also what does offset change?

What look are you going for? Drag race look would go with 15x4 front with skinnies and 15x8 5.5 backspace rear.
Road racer look, go with some 17x8's and 245/45/17's.
Offset is how far the wheel centerline is offset from the mounting flange. Positive offset sets the wheel more to the inside, negative offset sets the wheel to the outside, zero offset of course is centered.
A 15x8 wheel with 5.5 backspace is a positive offset wheel, 1.5" positive or whatever the metric equivilent is which is how the offset is normally stated.

Just a plane jane look. lol I was gonna run 255's all around but I figure to avoid any chance of rubbing, i'de do 235's up front and 255's out back. I'll prolly step the sidewalls down to 50 or somethin. Or maybe just stay at 60. lol But if I do 15x7 up front with 235/60's and 15x8 with 255/60's out back, would I have any rub goin on? Also with those rims, goin on a fox, should I worry about offset? If so how much. Btw, thanks for all the help so far!

Offset is a function of the backspacing, if you go with the backspace in the post above you should be okay so long as your car doesn't sit real low. Possibly have a bit of rubbing on front at full lock, just be carefull not to turn the steering wheel all the way over.

Okay cool. As long as the wheels don't sit kinda sunken into the wheel wells or stick out a little bit. I want them to sit flush with the body, like the 10 holes do. Also I may do some eibach pro kit springs wich lower the car 1-2 inches. Will this cause a major problem? Cause if so I could maybe do 225 up front.
