What do you do if it dies after 3 or 4 years of use? Chuck it and buy another one? Disect it for the helluvit? I have a Jacobs Mileage Master that worked great for 4 years and then it died. Seems to be a waste to spend bucks on a capacitance discharge box only to have it die like a Duraspark ignition module a few years later.
Anyone have MSD 6A or such die on them?

Hey Dean. You can contact MSD's tech line; they do offer rebuilding services for thier ignition amplifiers. Thier web-site has all the info if you don't have the number handy> www.msdignition.com Over the years I have sent them a couple 6AL's. One was a $75 refurbishment & the other was too far gone to warrant a rebuild. Good service & communication so long as time is on your side IMHO......
