My name is Terry, I'm on some other sites but now I have reason to be over here. My wife Julie and I have been planning another car for a while now and I finally found " the one". This is the scariest car I have ever tackled, hope I'm not sorry. I am hoping I will get alot of encouragement and advice from all you veteran foureyed guys. Well everyone meet" Rusty "... not for long... Rusty is a 1984 5.0 factory ttop notch. A real v8 ttop notch, what a beautiful vin number and door tag. We won't settle for anything less than perfect on the final result so looks like we'll be busy.

Not yet, the Capri is in better shape so that one comes first. The Capri is being tore down as we speak. After the Capri is finished I might start on it then. It depends on if I still have it. I want an SVO real bad but the wife says that I am at my car limit until I build a bigger garage. So if I find a SVO, the T-top will have to go to make room.

if you ever want to sell it i'll buy it , i'm not pipe dreaming either, let me know , a car like that deserves to be taken care of and finished, it doesn't have to be a restoration but fixed up nice and taken care of

You car looks to be in pretty good condition. The previous-previous owner of my '84 notch did a number to the interior trying to replace the heater core (broke just about everything in the process but didn't even get halfway done!). Your engine bay looks pretty clean.

T-top notches are just plain cool!

Happy Wrenching!

Welcome to the site! I've seen your other Mustang on Stangnet and judging by the way that one turned out, there's no doubt in my mind that this one will be show quality too. Post up some pic's of your other one so that the members here can see the type of work that you do.

Nice find!!! and WELCOME. I also found the rare V8 ttop notch 2 yaers ago and took it down to the bare bones and redid it. Make sure to post lots of pics. I am a collector of the rare ttop coupe pictures and info(I have tones of pictures if you need any inspiration). Have fun with her. I had a blast doing mine. Eventhough a car is never truely done. My Cardomain has pictures of my complete build. Your pretty lucky to have grey interior, pieces are way easier to find.

Hissing Cobra and Blainer I checked out the pics on both of your cars...awesome. I'll be very happy if I get a result as nice as both of your cars, but I can't promise I will do as good a job of documentation. Your builds will give me a nice reference tool, thanks.

That's what we are here for. All the resources you need are pretty much all here and if you need to know of any just ask. I cant wait to see the progress.

Yeah, this board is the LEADER when it comes to Foureyes. If you need to find it, it's here (unless Ford hasn't released the information).
