I love the description. Seems a bit over the top to me.

Just when everyone thought the horsepower was gone forever from pony cars, Ford introduced their Cobra Mustang. Even though there's only 4 cylinders under the hood, this cobra has a potent sting and the secret is turbo-charging. The turbo 4 has enough power to make V-8 owners weep. The combination of power and styling made this a striking car, indeed.

Mark:
If I had that model, it would be painted Silver metallic clearcoat RN and would have SVO wheels all around to look like my 82 GT....!

[Just found all the T-top door W/S that I need for the T-topping project. The last items needed are the channels in whick the T-top door windows sit and are attached to the regulators. You still have them...attached to the door windows? Maybe, hope.... pm?]

Honestly I thionk the Monogram Pace Car model is the best you're gonna get if you wanna do a Cobra and have it look right. I bought 2 of em off ebay. Here's the list of 4-eye Plastic kits I have that I'll build something outta...

1979 Capri Turbo -(2 kits)
1979 Monogram Pace Car (2 kits)
1981 McClaren Mustang Coupe (2 kits)

I'd like to put a 4 cam motor outta the 99 Cobra kit I have in one of the McClarens and some big wheels and tires. I'd also like to restomod both of the Capris.

Those revell kits are poor detail and quality. I agree on the monogram pace model. Or even the 79 cobra monogram model being of good detail and quality..

Here is the Monogram kit I put together. It is decent, but the MPC is more to scale.
