Pace Car color

Can anybody tell me what the correct color for the lower half and the hood scoop is. I'm using PPG paint and I cannot find the paint code anywhere for the black trim, is it just a standard satin or should I have gloss black flattend and if so how much flattener per quart.

I used the following for touch up on the black, and it's about as perfect as a match as you're going to find.

S.E.M. Original Trim Black #39143

I bought it in rattle cans at the local paint supply place. You may be able to get it in pints or quarts also.

Thanks, I have always used the SEM products and really like them but when I did my 91 coupe trim I didn't like the finished look it was too flat. I have original pictures of pace cars and you can see a very slight reflection in the black, and the door jambs on my car were the same way.

I was advised to use PPG DDL-9423 Low Gloss Black for the black on my 80 Cobra. I have not looked into it yet as I am not to that stage. Something you might want to compare to.
