Looking for pics of speciality four eyes.

The title pretty much says it all. I am trying to compile a album of rare four eyed cars. The main reason is to pretty up the shop some. The secondary reason is that I have never seen some of the specialty cars before. I would'nt be able to tell the difference from a Black Magic and a normal Capri. I've seen a Twister II, but not a Dominator. Thanks for the help guys.

I need to write up a long Fox Myths list one of these days.

This is not directed at allgosvo, or anyone else in particular, this is just a general educational post.

Anyway, there's no such thing as a White Lightning Capri. There were white Black Magic Capris, which sometimes are passed off as White Lightnings, and there are white Capris which people claim must be White Lightnings, 'cause, well...they're WHITE...and Capris.

There are mainly two places to lay the blame for all this.

First and foremost is this ad (http://foureyedpride.com/fep_bild/v/img_arch/fact_lit/album08/album16/album56/whtlightning1.jpg.html). Please note that the White Lightning at the top of the ad is simply a tag line, it is not announcing a model. You will find no mention of a WL model. They are touting the introduction of the 5.0L H.O. engine for the 1982 model year, in the Mercury Capri. Nothing more. Note that you've never heard of a 'Great Escape (http://foureyedpride.com/fep_bild/v/img_arch/fact_lit/album08/album16/album56/82greatescape.jpg.html)' Capri. Same ad style.

Second area of blame is dealers. We all know that car dealerships will say damn near anything to sell a car. Many dealerships took advantage of that popular ad to help move white Capris, and started calling them White Lightnings so that individuals would think they were getting something special, not just an RS/5.0 Capri that happened to be white.

From those two areas, there has been a watershed effect that has lasted a quarter of a century. It is amazing how these things take hold, propagate and seemingly never die.
