What does it do and what is it good for? I've looked all over and havn't figured out what the big deal is about them?
I thought that my clutch works good, it moves the car when I let it out, and doesn't move the car when I push it in, are they really worth the price?

the stock ones have plastic teeth on them. most aftermarket ones have steel. not fun when you have the teeth break on you and you have to call a tow home. been there, done that and have the high dollar receipt because mine was real low and had to have a rollback in the middle of nowhere

Besides breaking, the stock ones go a long time before adjusting, this can lead to inconsistancy and even clutch failure at the track.

no problem. they are a pain to put in but are worth it in the long run.

dont forget to order a quality firewall adjuster too, because aftermarket quadrants are just a place for the clutch cable to hook.. 1 or 2 hook is fine, i've never seen a need for the triple hook ones. Also it's a good time to replace your clutch cable with a OEM or non adjustable one, if you dont think it needs it, remove the cable and inspect both ends for the frayed cable(usually the cluch end, mine was held on by 3 strands), it will most likely need replaced because your garage/house is a much better place to do this job..on the side of the road just plain sucks

The firewall adjuster will ease adjusting the clutch 100 times!
The quadrant will give you a much better feel on the pedal in my opinion. Doesn't feel spongy and loose.
