Know that @Yahoo.com email addresses are no longer being allowed. Users who have had Yahoo addresses are safe, although they will not be able to update an email address to a new Yahoo address.
Yahoo has been a thorn in our side for a very long time, and we have been forced to disallow their email addresses because of it. All board generated emails to Yahoo for new user registration were blocked or sent to spam folders. Other message boards have had to resort to disallowing Yahoo addresses for this same reason.
We had tried to suggest putting the admin email address in user's address books, but that seemed to have little effect.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but this is something we had no control over and tried dealing with for an incredibly long time.
Other email providers are safe for now, and if you're looking for an alternative, Google's Gmail ( http://mail.google.com/ ) seems to be about the best choice of the free email providers when it comes to handling both board generated emails and effectively blocking spam.
