My Best Friend's 79 Pace Car

Hey Guys and Gals! I wanted to show you my best friend Dave's 79 Mustang Pace Car. He is not a computer savy guy, but I want him to be part of the 4 eyed community that I am bragging about (thanks capriman86). I hope that no one minds if I drag him along with me to any swaps or meets. I figure two more cars is great right? These pictures were taken at New England Dragway back in 2005 and the guy driving is not my best friend, but a mutual friend of ours Jay. Both of our cars are at his house in Acushnet, Ma. I have attached a few pictures of the car.

I apologize for not stating that it is a replica. It was originally a four banger and he has been slowly making it a pace car. It is a pretty cool car though.

You are absolutely right. Two more cars are great ---- and this is a GREAT site to visit. Y'all are saving two more cars (and not letting them go to the crusher). As for my 2¢, you and your friend are very welcomed to the community.

It would be great to have him come along with us. It's always great to see another 4 eye. The Pace Car has always been one of my favorite 4 eyes and I'd really like to see his.

I've seen his car a bunch of times at the track (if it's the same one). If it is, I believe he runs high 12's with it, correct? It doesn't matter to me if it's not a true Pace Car, as I like clones just as much. That decal package is one of the most striking ones that I've seen on ANY car.

He has had the car for about 8 years I believe, but like the rest of us, money doesn't grow on trees. Or at least I haven't found one that does that yet anyway, LOL!!! Welcome!!! The Pace Car looks good, though I personally don't like the 87+ quarter windows....to each their own tho.....
