What is a 1984 GT350 w/T-Tops and 87k worth?? Rare?

Hi guys, well i have the chance to buy a 1984 GT350 w/T-tops and 87k on it. Its all original and he just needs to get rid of it. He is asking 4995.00. What is this car worth? I'd only be interested in buying and selling it. Is it worth the hassle? Thanks.

Edit: Its nice and clean and not repainted or dented or anything. Just a real solid clean car.

I sold mine last year 2.3 turbo with 77,0000 miles mint one owner,I was asking 7500.00 and ended up getting 6300.00 for it on turbo ford,guy from ohio bought it,I paid 4500.00 when I bought it and ended up replacing a few things,I know the 2.3 turbo cars are very rare only a couple hundred made,but if you hot for it offer him 4000.00 and Im sure you will end up with it,still a good deal if its clean,good luck...

I've got a T-Top 5.0 5 speed Anny car and production estimates are around 200 using common numbers. So, yes it MAY be rare. They are also popular on eBay.
