Well, today my newest Capri aquisition was completed with an 86 Eurocoupe coming to Florida. Had my first drive, and was great.

Will post some pics later, camera has been playing up with me this week. Will get my sons when he gets home shortly.

NOW, I know I am going to have to let some of the other car(s) go. I have an 82RS, the red one in my album, it may need to find a new home, also the 86GS I think will end up going down the road. No hurry to make any big changes. AND, want to be sure to get a group shot of all the Capri's, soon!

thanks man. They just took off a few hours ago. I wanted to wait till I knew they were out of Florida before saying anything. Nothing to jinx the deal on a car I have always wanted! lol

Hey, we went and checked out the Saleen last night. That went very well. He really liked it, I think the car even liked him. haha

Just curious, how big is the stable? You seem to buy a lot of cars.

well, my car shop at my house is 40X50, not everything fits inside. Some of the lesser cars do have to stay out doors. This ASC is of course an indoor car. I am looking at adding at least three lifts in the back row, that will add three more parking spots. If that works well, I see adding 2-3 more.

So I have found, I think I have a real gift for this! lol

On a real note, was just out to the shop. I am really happy with this car. I knew I would be, but am now more than 100% over-pleased!

Was great driving it today. Cannot wait to go for a spin next weekend.....

hey, yeam we need to get together sometime before the holidays. Also, the first week of the new year, some FEP guys will be here to p/u a car one of them is buying from a friend, if the weather is decent, you need to bring the notch down and hang out that afternoon.

Chris, glad you like the car. It looks good sitting in your back yard in the Florida sun. It was not liking sitting in the cold garage.
Hope you enjoy it.

thanks Rich! Went for a spin this afternoon, yours and Dave friends at the Tom Thumb were asking about the foot rubs? lol

The folks at Lyle's speed shop were very impressed with the car. So, all is good!!!

In my experience no one even knows what the hell a mclaren capri is. When I took mine to a show I had to explain to a bjilliion people what it was. I should have just handed out pre-printed fact sheets or something...

yea, I have gone through that for years with my Aussie Ford's!! You cannot believe the stories I hear people tell about them as they walk by at shows. I just stand around as if I am a spectator. My fav is they are Canadian Torino's. lol

Does not matter to me, though. I love them no matter what folks call them.......

Well, I can tell you it did not happen overnight, been a few decades in the making. I think I am enjoying this time of my life best...........

yea, no plans for it to go anywhere, anytime! I am seriously thinking of sending the little yellow ASC vert to my dad early next year, on his birthday. He and mom are getting older and I think he/they would love the car and enjoy it. In the end, it comes back here, but right now, they would cherish the car. Only issue, I really enjoy the car! lol But, still am thinking it be best to let them have it for as long as the would like.
