Here is a 1986 Mustang GT project. This was a complete car when I started my intended project. My son was born early and haulted all progess.


As it sits:
Under the hood is complete and running.
Mileage I thinck was aroung 120k, SPOKE TO ORIGINAL OWNER AND ENGINE WAS REBUILT 30K MILES AGO..
Trick Flow intake componants
BBK cold air kit.
Equal length shortie headers...?
Pulley's...?
I have never really got into the engine compartment, but the car ran extremely well when I got it. I PUT FLYWHEEL BELLHOUSING AND STARTER BACK ON>>CAN HEAR RUN>>50psi oil at idle>

SOLD Cowl hood, Taillights, and headlights.

Known issues:
Door pillars need rust repair.(Local body shop quoted $300.00 less paint.)
Floor pan needs rust repair.(This repair was included in quote.)
Windshield pillars beginning to show rust at top corner at roof connection.
Needs cluch kit.


Included with car:
All parts to return it to how I aquired it.(Shown in "complete" picture.)
Additional "clean" drivers door.

stock flywheel has fresh cut.
From 1985 GT T-top car which I parted out....
Additional driver and passenger doors, that could be repaired..?
stock 85 Gt hood - clean
stock front nose w/ fog light cut outs. - good
stock front nose w/out fog light cut outs. - good
stock 85 driver and passenger fenders. - good
stock 85 highback halo grey front seats. fair/good
stock 85 rear seats grey. fair/good
stock 85 misc. interior trim and pieces.


Extra Dynomax 2.5" cat-back exhaust w/stainless tailpipes.

T-5 tranny housing and internals. - disassembled.

I'msure I have many other miscelanious parts and accessories that I have failed to mention that will be included.
I would love to have the time to assemble all of these Items into a nice road monster, but between work and the newborn I have no time to spend on this.

The aeronose was on the car when I got from previous owner.
As I mentioned I have two 4-eyed fronts. One with fogs and One with-out.

No Transmission.
I plan to keep BBK cold air intake,Trick flow componants,and areonose, I will include stock componants to replace these.

Good luck with your sale. I'm have been trying to sell my 86 GT T Top for awhile now and can't get $3500 for it and it's rust free. Not sure if it's the economy, holidays, or maybe I'm overpriced. Looks like a great project you have there. Best of Luck to you.

1986 Mustang Gt

This car is 80% dissassembled. Needs a minor amount of floor pan rust repaired, door pillars need rust repair, and A-pillars need some repair at top of windshield. The stock 8.8, 5.0 engine are still in the car, it has 87-90 turbine wheels on it. The car is a 5spd. I have 90% of what is needed to reassemble the car and many, many extras.
