Help with avatar

Ok, uploaded photo to photobucket. It gives you 4 different formats and I've tired all of them to upload an avatar on here and none will work. It's not too big, anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong. I was going to pull it directly off my computer but when I tried to resize the photo it went blurry on me.
