1986 Coupe Roller For Sale

This might get long winded, but bear with me. I am going to try and give buyers an accurate, and honest description of the car.

I bought this car a few weeks ago . It was being converted to an aero nose when I got it,so it will either come with the aero nose and hood,or nothing. I don't have an 86 nose or hood for the car. The Car was originally a 4cyl. Rear has been swapped for an 8.8. Brakes seem to be ok. That is as much as I know of the cars mechanics.
The body is fairly solid. It was rust proofed evidently when new. The rust that I have noticed is at the door hinges, and at the bottom rear of the door jamb where the quarter wraps into the jamb. This is all surface rust that has not rotted through. I scraped the spots shown in the pictures with a small pick to see if I could make a hole, and nothing went through. The metal still seems very solid. The doors are rusty at the bottom seems and will probably need to be replaced. The floors look solid with the exception of some very light surface rust at the seams.I didn't get to put the car up in the air to check the floors. I just pulled the carpet back in the corners when I was looking to purchase the car. The frame rails/rad support look very solid, but the lower part of the radiator support has met a few curbs through its life. The car also needs a windshield due to a crack.
It also has an after market sun roof that doesn't seem to leek.
All in all,The car would be a great starter for a project that is for the most part solid. I paid $500 for the car and would like to get most of my money back. The only reason I am selling this is that I have way too many projects, and just found something that runs/drives that I can drive while I am working on it. Thanks,Chris

I will even take trades/partial trades for 87-95 HO roller motor, Edelbrock RPm airgap for 289/302,Holley 650 DP carb,W/C T5,after market aluminum,or steel heads,Wheels etc.I would also be interested in a 85-86 Coupe interior in Gray,or Tan (Mostly need front and rear seats).

This car would be a great starting point for a project.

TTT for an old thread. I now have the correct bumper for the car.

I also have a 83 coupe that I would make a package deal with the 86. It is a solid v6 car except it had a poorly repaired pass. rear quarter back in the day and rusted out around the back window trim. It also had rear trunk damage that was hidden with filler at the time the quarter was repaired. I will get pics of that car as soon as it stops raining.

$700. for both cars.
I am also willing to trade for a capri roller in similar cond.or parts listed in the original ad at the top.

Thaks,Chris
