aside from the fact that I've never seen or heard of one, would anyone want to pick off parts from it if i were to buy it? I know i am looking for its trim and bumpers and probably some interior pieces as well but thats about it. I bet there are some people here who could use some of the stuff off of it. The guy emailed me back and told me the frame was rotted out " at the rear swing arms for the axle" I know i am also looking for a core support to do a transplant with. But yeah, any one looking for 82 convertible parts?

Did verts start in 83?
Earlier ones will be custom jobbers. Very rare cars (tomaso swift, Intermechanica, etc). Unless you find some guy looking for the same kind of vert parts, those will be tough to sell. You might get lucky on ebay or something.

I have actually seen a couple of early fox convertibles. One was a 5.0 stock and this one is a 3.3 6 cyl. I guess they must be custom conversions. i found out the car is actually rusted out in the back of the car or soemthing. Im not sure what he meant. What is a common loss in the back end of the suspension?

I know for a fact that they were converted by other companies as early as 79 ,so it would be very rare if it was repairable it would be great:)

verts didnt come from the factory again until 83, so any 79-82 fox verts are custom jobs.
