Hi All,
I posted this over on svoca as well, as you know, I'm heading to Australia to do a movie. I leave October 20th and should hopefully be back just after Christmas. I'm wondering if there's anyone in the NW, particularly Portland area, that might be willing to babysit Blackie for me while I'm away???
I'm going to be keep the insurance current so driving priveliges are included. I'm really just hoping someone has a nice safe spot to park her and can fire her up once or twice a week and maybe give her a lap around the block to stop the build-up of cobwebs.
I'm happy to pay a few $$'s for the favour. The alternative is to lock her away for the winter but I don't like the idea of that and I don't think she would either.
Thanks in advance

I think we could, do you have a car cover? Can you get back to Portland somehow?

Ok, maybe you've covered this in another thread, but if you did I didn't read it. You say you are going to make a movie. Ok, so are you famous, someone we would know if we saw you. C'mon details.

Ok, I see in your profile you are a lighting tech. Are you going to work on a set.

Yeah, going to shoot a movie in my hometown of Perth, Western Australia. I usually work as a set lighting technician or Best Boy. My old Gaffer called and asked if i wanted to do this movie with him. I think it's a boxing movie but I'm not really sure. I only know when I start, how much I'm getting paid and that I have a shed load of stuff to get done before I leave on the 20th.
It's going to be cool though as I haven't been home in three years and the weekend after I arrive the All Ford Show is on. It's the biggest show on the west coast and it's only held every 2 years. Wish I could take the SVO actually.

The SVO is comfy in the driveway tonight, and I just placed it a little closer to Nelson's SVO to keep it company, and tucked it in for the night. All is good. Have a good trip.
