Title says it all. I have a nice Capri that would make a great foundation for someone to build on. No Engine or trans, but every thing else. I have had this one since 1999 and still have not done **** with it. Im open to all offers. I can can snap some pics and post them later but as of now there is like 1 or 2 pics in my album (car is maroon). Im located in Sacramento Claifornia 95820. My name is Scott, you can reach me @ 916-743-4295 if you have any questions.

Did you buy the car this way, or have you worked at all on it? Was it origianlly a TRX car, A/C car? 5.0? Where is the engine and tranny now? Just curious about that last item. What is the interior like fabric wise? Does it still have the roller-blind for the cargo? What about $$$? Any ball park. I'm interested. But it would be more like next spring before I can act on any car to restore...:(

I have no idea where the original engine is? The trans has been rebuilt and its just sitting for now. I actually have a Capri engine out of my other 84 that I would love to give away. It was an AC car, with the 5.0 HO, the rear seats look great but the fronts are worn. When I drove it I put seat covers over them. I had an engine in it running but it blew up after 500 miles. As for the $$$$, make me an offer! I would love to see someone from our site get it and enjoy it. Other wise I have to call Pick N Pull and another rare car would be lost....

Great!:D I wanted that Capri also. It looks like a natural back to factory spec. restoration project without the B/S of repairing someone else's mess...
But I couldn't get the numbers to work just yet.:(

I have been toying with the idea of using a Capri in my V8 Project and this one is actually close enough that I can afford to go get it , and looks to be in good shape ,and Scott the present owner could not be more helpful .the bad thing is I am finding it hard to sleep at night thinking of all the things I want to do with this car, I plan on a factory type restoration with a few performance mods to come later ,I have not had a T-Top since I bought my 78 Trans Am new ,that was during the Smokey and the bandit crazed 70s...LOL

Damm. The car has still not sold. The buyer was to be at my house on the 30th and I have not even got a call or e-mail yet? $450 cash takes the ROLLER. I need this car gone fast. Like a month ago. Im so pissed it is still here in my drive way Im close to stripping all the Capri specific parts off and sending it on. If you live far and shipping will kill you I can adjust the price slightly for Christmas. This is a great car to build on. NO RUST.

I talked with you about this car before. I'm very interested but live in Ohio. Shipping is the only issue I have. I will work with you, but I can't do much on this end. I live around Columbus. If you get me a price for everything, I'd love to have this car for my next build. Just finishing my '83 capri now! PM me and maybe we can talk on the phone about it. Get me a number and i will call you. Thanks, Dick

Sorry, I'm going to have to pass. The cheapest shipping rate I got was $800. The others were around $1000 to $1200. Shame to see this car go to waste:(

this is an incredible misunderstanding ,you sent me a pm that you had sold all the cars ,
I wrote you back and asked what you meant and you told me your wife was now happy and shopping ,
I thought you sold the car .that is why I quit contacting you ,
I really am sorry about the misunderstanding but when you wrote and said you sold all the cars I thought it was gone .
in the past three weeks things have gone kind of hay wire with me as a second relative passed away last Friday but I would have carried through with plans to get the car,
but I wrote it off because I really thought it was gone ,I guess I should have called and talked to you directly and sorted it out but anyhow good luck and believe me I am so sorry about this whole situation .

Car is going to Pick-N-Pull off Stockton Blvd in Sacramento if any one is close enough to grab some parts off it. What a shame. I wish I had a barn to store it longer.

Sorry to hear the pick a part destination. I wanted the car, but didn't even have the money to do a round trip with the pickup and a trailer. Never mind pay you something for the car.:( It is so close, but sooo faaarrr away. That and I have to have all cars outside the garage tagged and inspected. The fact that it isn't in running condition,,,well I didn't stand a chance of even trying.:(
