Well, I am on the way back from Michigan to Florida with the GPIV I bought off David Beeke. WOW, what a nice car and FAST! I had to stop for the night as I have been up since 4am, fly to MI and been driving for about 400 miles. This old body was tired. Will post some pics when I get home.

Let me say this, the car is WAY better than I could have imagined AND I believe is the fasted, best running non-EFI 5.0 I have ever driven. It is really amazing. I also want to comment that David went way above and beyond to get the car ready for the trip. I decided at the last minute to just fly up and drive it back as I just do not have much free time these days and was eager to get the car to FL for some nice cool fall car shows.

So David, THANKS!

Ok, I am back in FL. That was a fast trip. I flew to Detroit Thursday and David picked me up. We went to Ann Arbor (did I spell that right?) to meet up with the owner of the other silver car and for his wife to collect him. I left out about 3:30 to FL. I only drove like 5 hours as I was pretty tired. Got up real early today, stayed outside Louisville and drove on to FL.

Car performed wonderfully. David did a superb job getting the car ready. I will load some pics to the album. I am pretty computer savey, but have not figured out how to add pics to a thread in this forum. I just took some and will load here in a sec.

And just for the sake of it, here is te 86 T5 car I just brought here from NH. It probably will be sold or traded off. What happened is I bought it before Dave's car became available. I had really wanted a 79 Pace Car. I have one, but needs a lot of work, so I thought I would sell it and just buy a nice one rather than fixing it up. Posted I might want to start looking for a Pace Car, ended up with something even cooler, Dave's car.

Anyhow, I DO want to get a hardtop McLaren. So, will probably sell this 86 to put back towards the ASC.

Ok, a hatch car. Why did I know saying hardtop would be wrong? lol

I often speak Aussie. Anything that is a two door, is a hardtop.

thanks, been a lot of fun, so far. Just need to find the safe spot I must have put the keys. I have a spot I keep all the keys, I go to move the car last weekend, no keys. So, will tear the shop apart this weekend looking for them. If nothing, lock-smith time! Just want to get it out for a spin, big time!
