1986 Mustang GT - T top, 5.0L, AOD, Jalepeno Red with gray interior. I am the 3rd owner as far as I can research. The car is from WV and was 100% stock when purchased by me. It is extremely rust free. I have added bolt on only items trying to keep the sleeper stock outer appearance. In the last 5000 miles I have added new front pads/rotors, rear brakes, 3.73 gears, transgo shift kit, alternator, mini starter, Pypes 2.5" catback, 2.5" X Pipe, MAC
1 5/8" equal length shorties, subframe connectors, new EGR, new IAC, new TPS, Kirban regulator, battery cables, new struts and shocks, short belt, floor mats, synthetic motor oil, trans fluid and filter, ignition switch, heater core, and more. It runs and drivers great. I got 22 mpg on the way to OC, MD for the car show. I just put a set of used 275/60 MT Drag Radials on the back. It will come with the 255/60 Radials as well. Car is registered in PA with CLASSIC TAGS. No emissions required. I did remove some emission equipment, but still have it all in case it would need to be reinstalled. Extras included:
Misc weather stripping
Mass Air conv. harness

Now on Ebay. Lots of pics and info.

Odometer shows 55,803. I listed the car as 155,803. When the title was transfereed to the 2nd owner in PA, true mileage was not recorded. So, it says exempt on the title and I cannot prove otherwise.

Thanks for the compliments everyone. I hope it goes to a good home. Looking to start on my next "project."

Damn nice car. I would not mind having a Ttop with a Auto OD. Would be a nice cruiser.

It's "Bright Red" (2R).

Don't know where the "Jalepeño Red" came from but that's not what Ford called it.

Thanks for the info. I was going on what the previous owner told me. I call it "for sale red."

You (and the PO) are not alone. Almost everybody calls it Jalapeño Red. But I can never find that in any Ford literature.

Hey guys, thats my old car and I can attest to the fact that it is in excellent condition. I always took excellent care of it and so has Chad since I sold it to him.

He's made some really great upgrades (all the stuff I wanted to do) and the guy does nice work and knows about these cars what he is doing. He's like me and doesn't want to see the car get hacked up.

Bump for a beautiful car and a decent, honest salesman.
