Wanted: 86 GT hatch

Hey everyone

I am currently looking for a 1986 Mustang GT hatchback 5.0, Auto. I dont want a mint or restored car but rather something that is mechanically in good shape ie: motor, tranny, rear end etc that i can drive and work on at the same time. I would also like it to be pretty well rust free, complete and farely orig, a southern cars are fine, faded/worn paint and minor surface rust is fine just as long as theres no rot as the cars around here are bad for that. If anyone can help me with my search it would be greatly appriciated.

I have had no access to log in and post a reply but i am going to throw a new (at least to me) 5.0 in it and will not be parting it out after all, I do have an 85 lx though that might work for parts

hey i almost got exactly what u are lookin for in california. its got a 85 LX hatch 5.0 auto w/ a rebuilt motor and was built by my buddy (a machinist) at his local machine shop. he's only asking 4500k. if u are interested please send me a response to: yodaddy4sho2000@yahoo.com not to mention its rust free cali car, i think youll be really happy with this one. its purrs like a kitten....and all original i might add.....i will email you pics...

I havent been on here latly due to work, and being busy with my LiL Red Express project. I actually ended up finding a car 2 weeks ago. Ill post some pictures as soon as i get it. Thanks everyone for your responses and for the offers.
