nice find, I would love to find one in that price range. Let me know if you ever decide it needs a new home, at a profit to you, of course!

I just made a deal for a rag top McLaren yesterday. Looking forward to actually getting it here. Need a set of wheels for it, though. IF, I can ever figure out posting pics, I will.

All you guys with ascMcLarens...

Go HERE: www.ascmclaren.org

This is THE OFFICIAL asc web site! ALL questions will/can be ANSWERED there! (go straight to the forums)

Value is really really hard to determine without pictures. The price rang can be $1k for a beater that is one step from being parts or $20k for a 5k mile new car.

Mike, thanks for the heads up on asking me to join the ASC forum. I have learned a bunch already and made several good contacts, already, just 24 hours into it.

The guy the picked up the McLaren for me yesterday, said it was way nice, asked if I wanted to turn it real fast, to him. He does not even like fox chassis cars. lol

No problem. We aim to help.

Hope you have fun with the car.

Before you change ANYTHING, please ASK first and don't make assumptions about this or that being aftermarket or whatever.

Remember on the early asc cars, asc put in aftermarket items so things like Kenwood and Alpine audio parts are actually considered FACTORY items.

If I had a nickel for every time I heard..."I chucked those speakers/covers/radio cause I thought it was some junk aftermarket stuff"...

Mike, thanks for that heads up. I think once I get the car here, I will take lots of detailed pics and send to you to have a look at. I really do not know what is correct and not correct. I am glad I bought it, though. Actually, I am surprised I was hesitant. The guy that picked it up for me, he really likes it and goes on about what good shape it is in.

Mike, I am going to pick it up in about a month. A friend has it stored at his facility for me. I am really looking forward to getting it here. Already have come across a set of ASC wheels for it. Trust me, I will be posting plenty of pics very soon!
