Tough one to find anymore. Something like you want (bone stock and 25k-50k miles) comes up every 6 months or so and costs ~$8k.
If you can handle a mid mileage car and a few mods, maybe some stuff you could reverse, I bet you could find something quicker.

I know of twin from other boards, and he is probably looking for a LOW miles car. Probably wants something like 1k to 10k miles tops. But I could be wrong, I frequent this board more then he does so if somebodies got something he has CASH!!!

Well 1k-10k is like a $15k+ car then.
Those are very rare beasties. Very very rare but they do pop up once a year or so. Problem is, getting that far down on mileage AND trying to get an exact year AND trying to dictate options....that could take quite a bit of luck.
Best bet in that case is to consider contacting a vehicle locating company. There are companies out there that claim they can find the exact vehicle you want.
Also get a subscription to Hemmings Motor News. Many many cars pass through there being sold by people who never get on the internet.

That car had better be the as Mint as Mint can be for that price. 80k is starting to get up there in mileage....but if meticulously taken care of, like wiped with a diaper every day of it's 80k miles, I suppose 8500 could be in the realm of possibilities.

You will find only half a dozen 85s like this left on the planet anymore.

This is harder than expected :omg:
The price of the early fox bodied cars have been so cheap for so long that it was affordable for people to search out very original cars for their "projects".
Also, back when the cars were new, they were modified either on the lot or driven next door to Joe's Speed Shop where they were modified with 10 miles on the odometer. Back then, NOBODY thought they would ever have any value. Most people still don't. I have run accross probably a dozen people who have lucked out and found cheap 100% original cars for "projects" in the last few years. Some with extremely low mileage. I have asked them about it and they just don't see values of these cars ever increasing.
You should have grabbed one 5 or more years ago. It seemed people were tired of holding onto original low mileage examples and were selling them because they came to the conclusion that the return on their "investment" was not going to appear. Unfortunately, with those now gone, there is that much less to choose from.
Keep looking, they are out there still. Try getting a subscription to Hemmings Motor News.

That guy in Ballwin, MO looks like he's trying to corner the market on the four-eyes. I see three that he has for sale on that mustangdreams website. He's had two ebay auctions for a 1984 GT350 in the last month where his reserve is evidently over $15k - no sale.
That black '85 looks very much like the one from Michigan linked earlier in this thread that was listed for $8500. Maybe he bought it and is tying to flip it for a profit.
Just my observations.
