I haven't Planned the BBQ yet guys/gals. I am finally back at work and next weekend is my daughters birthday party and then 4th of July weekend. I'll plan it for after that. Or maybe I'll plan it for the 4th of July weekend end if you guys are interested. That would make it Sat July 7th. That's exactly 5 days after my 35th birthday.

Well if he hasn't moved since the last time, Palm springs area, but a little further I believe.
It's a fun drive out there. I've been to his place before, it's worth the drive out. At night, the sky is crystal clear out, not much traffic

I live north of palmsprings. It's a nice hike out here so you won't be coming out here then back to LA to goto the Whiskey. How about sat July 14th/ does that sound better? Sundays are bad for me as I have to leave for work at 2:30am. SO it has to be a sat, plus that gives us old fogies a day to recuperate.

I don't see any issues with that so far.... 14 sounds good.
I'm sur ethat whatever I do with this new girl (Sophie) I'm talking to... we can work around that. But... if I don't show... It'll be because of Sophie. I like you guys... but I like Sophie alot more... ;)

I have friends that live in PS too.
I like the desert area. Unfortunately I will be camping on the weekend of the 14th.

No... the woman I went to see in England finally showed exactly who she was. It did not end well and my vacation was cut short cause I couldn;t stand to be around her. Sad thing is... she still doesn't have a clue and thinks she did no wrong and thinks I was the only one that was a pain. It's a long story thats not really worth telling any more.
Basically, She's a liar and I don't like talking to people like that.
I'm paying attention to Sophie right now. Taking it slow ans seeing where it'll go.
Wish me luck on that one!

I have that day free... Sophie is watching her friends kids.... so it's all good. No worries there.
Also, I still don't know Sophie well enough to let her in the inner circle yet. Once I know her for sure... only then would I concider her able to meet my friends. ;)
Also is it possible you could help me install those clutch pack in my GT's 8.8" rear? I think you were the one that said you'd done the upgraded mod before... right? I have the clutch discs I just need the fresh gear oil. I've been wanting to do this for a while.

I'll bring 'da distributor...... Anything else needed that I may have or can keep an eye out 'fer 'ya?
fordfreak300
07-07-2007, 03:23 PM
Well Jeremy is seeing if he has a stock upper and lower intake t-body and spacer for me. Yo uhave the distributor. I have the fuel injectors already and a fuel rail. I have vale covers already as well. I will need a washer bottle from a 87+ car and battery tray also to relocate my batter to the other side. I need a complete EFI harness and injector harness and O2 harness matching (will have to find in a yard and get as a whole) I am going to be looking for an A9L computer. I really need to write my self a list of everything needed to have handy and mark off what I have on it as I get it all. If someone finds a EFI harness with injector harness and O2 harness while at a yard and can grab it I will pay you for it on the day of the BBQ if you can yank it out and bring it. I also will pay for an A9L computer if someone has one and can bring it to the BBQ. Hopefully Dean comes and can bring the gas tank. I also need fuel lines and all sensors and actuators.
Corey do you have an extra 86 sending unit I can get off of you? Jeremy said you may have an extra one.
v8only
07-07-2007, 08:21 PM
shoot him a pm.
Mark, the intake will work fine. IN fact, time to learn to port, it'll save you a gob of cash. a stock mustang intake that's been ported will easily flow as much as a stock unported explorer intake, so that's the route I'd go.
fordfreak300
07-07-2007, 09:23 PM
Learn how to port? hehe I already know how too, I'll just have to look up Tmoss's website to see where it needs ported at.

Mark, you have PM. Essentially, your Fuell supply and return line worries are over. I have an extra set I can donate to the cause. You will need to redo the plastic fuel line part, though.
I may even have the tank shield too. I'd like to watch you and Jasen set up an 8.8 if I may, I've spent way too much having other do it for me.
If my luck holds out, I'll be bringing it all in the '78 Fairmont wagon so you won't have to unbend the fuel lines...

I PMed you back Dean. The fuel lines are great. I have the plastic parts on the fuel rail side already. So I am good their. You are more than welcome to watch us do Jasen's rear end.
I am excited about the BBQ. I havn't seen any of you for over a year. It has been way too long!!! I think next weekend i will get off my butt and install my heater core that I have had laying around for a while so it is out of the way. I will also reinstall all of my AC stuff and have it ready to be charged.

Hamburgers and hot dogs and associated buns.

Chips

Charcoal and lighter fluid.

Jeremy, I'd gladly give them to you but that would mean putting my hands inside the upholstery risking getting cut and dying from the flesh eating bacteria. OK guys, here is my itinerary:
--I'm LEAVING my place at 9:30 AM SAT morning from corona. I want to beat as much of the heat as possible. Sun burns from topless cruising, and overheating in 110 degree weather isn't fun...(my radiator should be good though, but you never know, right?)
All of you oc and la guys should meet at my place at 9am if that's possible, if you want to train up.
FYI, I'm showing that it's about 80 miles from my house, so considering no traffic, and no problems, the journey should take less than an hour and a half from corona.
I need to know who's going to meet up at my place at 9am sat.
marz, I'm telling terry you have space for him. (although he's saying now it's not 100% for sure that he's going)
Tony, I looked it up on a map, and it is indeed the 10 straight down. You're closer to it than I am, so it would make sense for us to all caravan up the 91, and meet you at 10am say at a gas station at the 91 and 10 fwy, how does that sound???
