I have a 1983 GT t-top roller for sale in Noblesville, IN. 10 miles north of Indy. Clear Indiana title. Car has been registered and plated in last 12 months.
I drove it for a while and then decided to use it as a donor car. It had some light rust behind the rear tires and could use a new drivers side floor pan. Still has the factory rear end.
The doors are solid but the hatch was rusted out. I have the original hatch and a rust free hatch that I will throw in, the only problem is the rust free hatch has no glass. I was going to swap the glass out, but never had the time. I have more pictures and lots of interior pieces that will go with the car if you want them. No hood, though.
$300 OBO.

I've got an 83 GT roller that I've been trying not to part out or junk but I need the room now. My 86 will be back from the body shop soon and I'll have no place to park it with this one still here. I'd like to see someone here snatch it up as a whole roller, so I'll offer it up once more before I start pulling it apart.
This car has a CLEAR Indiana title and has been registered in the last 12 months.
As far as body goes, it needs a hood and could use a drivers side floor pan. I have two hatches: one with rust and glass, one with no rust and no glass. I intended to swap them out, but never had the time. Also, the previous owner cut off the pin that holds the hatch closed instead of removing properly. Not sure why, but you would need to weld another in place.
It was a 4 speed car originally. It still has the factory 8.8 rear end. Rust around battery support and small rust holes behind the rear wheels, but nowhere else on the car that I've found other than floor pan mentioned above.
Email me with any questions or concerns. I have plenty more pics if you want to see anything not pictured.
(Turbine wheel pictured not included)

do you have any of the interior? is the GT nose in decent shape? wiring intact?

I have an interior for it minus a console. The seats are from an 80 Mustang. Back seat is in great shape, front seats are not so great. I have plenty of interior stuff that you could pretty much take your pick of if you come and get it. It has black carpet in it.
As far as wiring...I believe the only wiring not on the car would be from the firewall. I've never pulled any wiring from it, but it was missing a couple things when I got it.
The nose is in great shape. There are little holes drilled on the front, maybe from a license plate. They seem farther apart than a plate, but definitely not bigger around than a plate screw.

If you're interested in taking the whole thing, nows your chance. Otherwise, I'll be posting a list of body and interior parts in the next two weeks.

My zip is 46060. Guess I'm a little late since you already know I'm 10 hours away. :)
It would go right up on a tow dolly. Let me know if there are any parts of the car you want to see before driving that far.
its going to cost me 250 alone to get the tow dolly. I didnt think it would be that much. I dont have enough for that, the car and gas :(

You can get dollys at U-haul for under $50
yea I was selecting picking up the dolley in IN and dropping it off at one in MD. "around town" is 40 bucks or so. Can you send me pics of the 1/4 panels, roof and engine bay please. Also pm me your address and phone number. I will know more on friday I would be leaving early sat. morning maybe around 5am, put me there around 3-4pm If everything goes well.
My 85 has ALOT more rust and body work then it looked until I started sanding and kept finding bondo.
Let me know what comes with the car and those pictures and Im sure we can work something out. What wheels do you have for it to roll if the turbines are not included? If need be I have like 8 or 10 ten holes layin around haha. What color is the interior parts you have?
Wiring is no big deal I'll use my 85s harness. Is one of the hatches bolted on or no? Does that hatch have the duck tail spoiler?
Please pm me later tonight I will get back to you. If you have AIM my sn is fishinf00l121285 (zero's, not o's)
hey its almost friday, to reserve the tow dolley I need to know asap, and have those pictures.

Pics will be up in a few minutes. I work a LOT so sorry so late on the reply. If it is too late for you to make plans this weekend, I will hold off on bringing my other car home for a while so you can get here later.
I do not have either hatch bolted to the car. I have a wing from an 86 that will go with it.
I have a couple different instrument clusters and a little bit of misc stuff that you can go through. Pretty much anything I don't need for my car, you can have. I thought about stock piling body parts, etc in case I ever need them, but I don't have that kind of space.
The other wheels that you see will go with the car. That back passenger tire doesnt hold air for long, so I put the turbine on there to push it around.

Here are the pics. The engine area is dirty, but the only rust I see is from under the battery tray.
The radiator support is also pulled forward. It would straighten right out though.

No biggie, just didnt hope you read my other reply and not check back. I work alot aswell 10hr days and I go out of town alot. Sad thing is I'll be working in Columbus monday through thursday but no way of getting the car then. This weekend still sounds good.
So I should bring my 10 holes since the tow dolley has the front tires on it and the rear have contact with the road? You said the interior was there minus the console, just misc colors from stock piling or all one color? Looks like black hatch panels in one pic with a red rear seat, one pic shows a black rear seat. Just trying to get my facts straight.
wow good timing lol.
hows the rust in the roof? I can see some bubbling or something from the lighting I dont know. I have the metal to replace the lower 1/4's so thats no biggie and possibly the radiator support unless it can be pulled straight. but a welder and a grinder go a long way on a car...guess I need that welder lol
is the engine bay painted or that dirty lol either way no big deal just wondering. also hows the front frame rails? My 85's just crumbled on the pass side yesterday when I was unbolting the brake lines to drop the k member.

I cant tell if its rust or if the paint is just bubbling on the roof. The engine bay is painted and dirty. lol. The interior parts are either red, black or red painted black. :) The door panels are factory black, manual. I think I have black seat belts, too. I could be wrong about that.
As far as the frame rails are concerned, I think they're fine. Aside from the floor pan on the drivers side, the rest of the underbody is in really good shape.
You can bring your 10 holes if you want to. I could put the front tires on the back, too if that would be easier.
I work until 6 Saturday. I work for an eye doctor, so I cant leave early. If you will get into town earlier than six, I will have someone meet you at the house. I will email you my number so we can keep in touch that way. This will be my last chance to be online until tomorrow evening.

I still haven't parted this thing out. I found a place to store my project until spring, so I still have time to keep from cutting this one up.
I could use some advice on whether I should even try to get rid of it whole or start parting it. I know I could make more money off of it, but I'd hate to do it. It's not the best roller I've seen but certainly not the roughest.
I dont want to sell it whole just to see someone else parting it out on here.
Any advice?
